Yeah, I agree with Peter.  At least for Openbox users, this patch seems
to cause exactly the problem it aims to fix.  When I click the
notification icon in trayer, the buddy list opens but goes to the
background.  It does not appear in the tint2 panel.  However, I see it
does get focus because the title bar of the previously active window
turns grey.  I'm using pidgin 1:2.5.5-1ubuntu8.1 in openbox 3.4.7.2-3 on
Jaunty.
