Public bug reported:
if you install dapper without an ethernet card and then you install one
and change hostname, sudo stops working and complains with this error:
sudo: unable to lookup HOSTNAME via gethostbyname()
This is because without an ethernet card the hostname you choose during install
gets associated to 127.0.0.1 in /etc/hosts, removing this line (in recovery
mode) makes sudo work again
