Teej, attached all necessary files. I don't know if they would be
useful, no messages appeared when the freeze happened.
Steps I did:
1. Restart.
2. sudo /etc/init.d/hal stop
3. sudo hald --verbose=yes --daemon=no 2>&1 | tee /home/mati/hal.log
4. After the output settled down, I inserted a cd (13:54:23)
5. Some messages appeared, but the system was still operational.
6. After some seconds, the freeze occured (cursor couldn't move, system didn't
respond to keyboard, had to do a hard reset)
7. I launched lshal just after a reset.
My hal version is 0.5.12~rc1+git20090403-0ubuntu3 (system: up-to-date
9.04); Currently I cannot perform a clean install (I did that when 8.04
was released).
I hope that helps to narrow the issue, thanks!
