This seems to affect me as well, running an strace seems to suggest VYM
is trying to find a network printer that normally exists on my network
and is installed in CUPS but is currently unavailable. The program takes
ages to start, and freezes for a period of time when going to the print
dialog. Attached is my strace log, hopefully it might be of some use.
