System Settings > Advanced > Hardware
Network Management backend - incorrect.
Display continues to display Network Manager 0.7, two months after nm 0.7 was
purged from system
Display does not recognize wicd as a network manager, two months after wicd was
installed and working
System Settings should recognize what backends are being used and what
is not there.
