sorry, but random bugs in third-party software should not be reported to
Launchpad, especially if the software in question is closed source.

"core dumped" (= input for a debugger application created) is the result
of the words before it: "segmentation fault" (= the program wasn't
managing its memory properly). In this case, it's probably some file
which the program lacks, and fails to handle that error properly.

This is not an Ubuntu bug, although it may look like it; it's a bug in
the program which happens to surface when the program is run on an
Ubuntu box.

I realize that this answer doesn't help you a lot :-)
