First of all the solution that you gave me does not fix this bug permanently. when i restart firefox same problem occurs again.
I have not installed compiz or metacity.I have installed nvidia-180-kernel-source as graphics driver, which gave me some of the effects of compiz.Previously i have installed compiz on my computer and the same problem occured there. Then I reinstalled Ubuntu again. One more thing i have some problem regarding changing the screen resolution. At present the resolution that i am using is 1280*1024 but when i change it to, say 1024*768 then the quality of the graphics decreases significantly like minimizing and maximizing effect, some of the desktop icon goes out of screen etc. regards: Harpreet Singh 2009/6/28 Micah Gersten <[email protected]> > Glad to hear that it's working.
