FWIF I reinstalled edgy after buying a bigger hard disk. I tried once more to see whether compositors broke my suspend. I ran beryl, suspended, resumed and my X server crashed with signal 11 in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so(glxResumeClients+0x6d) [0xb7c1 acfd]
After another append the laptop didn't even resume fully -- the half- moon icon kept blinking.
