Same here on my Ubuntu 9.04 (nvidia driver).
Just after installing it, I tried twice to click on Application > Internet >
gwibber, and it didn't launch.
Then, I opened a terminal, and typed :
$ gwibber
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/gwibber/microblog/support/facelib.py:47:
DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead

console message: @1: ReferenceError: Can't find variable: addMessages
Erreur de segmentation
(so, segfault here)
I've then come here, and tried with -d flag :
$ gwibber -d

Now, by clicking on Application > Internet > gwibber, it works ... I didn't
reboot since.
