A fresh installation of Xubuntu 9.04 without creating additional folders
shows when HOME is opened, there is a shortcut by default called
"Download" which if clicked is actually a shortcut to
/home/$USER/Desktop. Since you created a folder called "Downloads", the
link to "Download" will not take you to your created folder. The actual
bug is the default folder called "Download", which should not exist.
Thunar does not automatically create a shortcut to your created folders.
Please remove by right-clicking on "Download", left-click on delete, to
get rid of this false folder shortcut. You can then create a shortcut to
your own folder.
