Se il problema è di pacchetti corrotti nella cache, puoi dare da terminale
sudo apt-get clean
che rimuoverà tutti i pacchetti scaricati (anche parzialmente).

I pacchetti della lingua italiana che ho scaricato sono corrotti ed il sistema
continua all'infinito a propormi l'aggiornamento e a fallirlo perché utilizza
sempre gli stessi. Cosa posso fare?
