Public bug reported:

I have compiled my own kernel (2.6.31-rc1-git5), and forgot to add FUSE
support. And because of that, I can't mount my NTFS volumes:
r...@megaleif: / #> modprobe ntfs
r...@megaleif: / #> mount -a -t ntfs /dev/sda1 /windows/
FATAL: Module fuse not found.
fuse: device not found, try 'modprobe fuse' first

The NTFS module is loaded, but mount do still complain about FUSE...

Release: 9.04
Codename: jaunty
Linux MegaLeif 2.6.31-rc1-git3-emil.s #1 SMP Mon Jun 29 00:24:15 CEST 2009 i686
GNU/Linux

Everything is up2date.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
