Many computer users have become blind to error messages because they just appear too often. Even outside the computer world, for example do hot taps really need a sign saying "Warning, hot water"? This steps up the need for making 'really important' messages less easy to ignore but then that would make the less important notices feel the need to increase visibility too.
Fail-safe used to be a common consideration and i think we should really aim for that for defaults. In this case the default should surely be to setup a dual-boot system. Simply making the 2nd option in "Partitioning" the default would be ideal. The 2nd option is already very clever, lets just use it ;) -- Make warning text in Ubiquity red https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204053 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
