Binary package hint: update-manager
I am using karmic alpha2, update-manager version is 1:0.123.
I was trying to update the package information to check for updates. After
entering the password it only read the state information but it didn't download
any package information. After a manual "sudo apt-get update", it displayed the
new updates correctly, but clicking "Install updates" only updated the state
information again, without installing anything. A manual "sudo apt-get upgrade"
did work, however.
If there's any more information needed, I will most happily provide it. I found
nothing related in the log files, however.
