While digging around, I found that when I'm logged out, a logfile is
generated in /var/log/gdm which finishes with the following;
X: ../../src/i830_batchbuffer.h:78: intel_batch_emit_dword: Assertion `pI830->ba
tch_ptr != ((void *)0)' failed.
