Ehm, while I don't care much personally (I just use the above-mentioned PPA), leaving the package essentially broken for Jaunty doesn't seem like a nice option. The QBzr package serves essentially as a branch /repo-viewer, so with one of these core-functions broken, it has a huge impact on the usefulness of the package as a whole.
