Public bug reported:

I recently bought a Lenovo T500. It comes with built in mobile Internet
which I didn't think I would use. However there is a 30-day free trial
with Vodofone included so I thought I would try it.

Having registered and got everything enabled, using the "mobile" button
on the Network manager drop down menu works fine. I am connected and
the "disconnect" entry is added to the drop down menu.

/etc/ppp/resolve.conf is correctly updated from the data provided by
vodafone dring the connection. /etc/resolv.conf however is rewritten
with information gathered on the very first connection, and is generally
wrong. This means I have to hand edit or copy the information from
/etc/ppp/resolv.conf to /etc/resolv.conf -- which is obviously extremely
irritating.

I am not sure which package to assign this to I'm afraid.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
