The codec is Sigmatel 9200 Found a work around to this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Gutsy_Intel_HD_Audio_Controller Sound output is working, have not tested recording, although that's not a priority. An update should be suddenly break the sound card drivers. This should be fixed as an update to the recent updates.
