I figured out myself what was causing cups to fail. It happened to be a figure (embedded in pdf) in eps format that was originally generated using inkscape-0.46
However its very strange that this image in inkscape was actually generated by importing few .png images and finally exporting to eps. On the other hand, if the image is worked completely using inkscape the eps from that seems to work fine without any issues when embedded in pdf and prints without any issues. pdf was generated through dvips->PS->PS2PDF So now the question points to, whether inkscape has any bugs? -- /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf stopped with status 1! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394993 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
