Public bug reported:
I was investigating an error in Firefox that was causing it to crash
when trying to play youtube videos in full screen (This is a common
problem among nvidia users on the forums, with workarounds including
editing script files, disabling hardware acceleration, etc). I tried to
open the nvidia xorg application, and it said that xorg was not
correctly configured to use the nvidia driver. So I opened tty1 and
closed kdm, ran nvidia-xconfig, and reopened kdm and everything is now
working correctly.
