Tested with CUPS 1.3.9-17ubuntu3.2 on Jaunty.
I created a printer using the "beh" backend that connects to an lpd
printer. The DeviceURI I used was:
beh:/1/0/15/lpd://192.168.0.101/LPT2?reserve=yes
When printing to this printer the job just sits in the queue, waiting.
In order to get it to print properly I needed to do "chmod 700
/usr/lib/cups/backend/beh" and then jobs printed OK.
