Hi, I've tried Karmic - I get similar results I tried a couple of configurations 1) Standard Karmic 2) My working config attached above 3) My xorg.conf with Intel driver
Only 2 presents a working gdm session; for 1 & 3 I had to fallback on the console. Note: It sounded like a session had started successfully somewhere :-) as I heard the startup sound played and was wondering if the default display was being sent to another output e.g. HD or TV output as opposed to VGA; I'll try to test this later on this week.
