Hi, I tested latest Karmic with 2.6.31-2 and it looks like the bug is fixed (finally!!!). Actually I didn't tested to hard so I am not 100% sure.
About the channel I was getting the problem with AP on channel 2 and channel 8 so it was not channel related problem.
