I believe many of the issues mentioned here are either bug #60288
(crashes with DRI) or bug #67487 (Ati AGP speed) for which there are
some workarounds or test packages. Can you please take a look on those?
If you still think your problem is not a duplicate, please attach more
information like Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf.
