I recently set up compiz as a standalone window manager (no gnome, just compiz). After doing this I started experiencing the problem described above with pavucontrol (using pulseaudio 0.9.14). Each time I reboot, my one output device gets set to 23% volume and muted.
I've just been opening up pavucontrol, unmuting and setting it back to ~70% each time I boot up, but this is less than ideal. Anyone know if there's some config file I should be editing or something instead of setting the volume with pavucontrol? Just can't think why it wouldn't be remembering my preferences. -- mixer settings are lost on reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/270577 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
