Public bug reported:
When attempting to test the integrity of the Feisty ALTERNATE
Ubuntu/gnome installation CD (file dated 01-28-2007 - Feisty daily
build) from the initial boot screen menu, I get the following error:
[50.787566] ata2: reset failed, giving up
The checking procedure goes on past this error to several other lines
which go by to fast for me to record.
The procedure then halts at a blank screen with the cursor blinking in
the upper left hand corner of the screen.
When I hit alt,crt,del the machine proceeds to reboot.
Let me now spend at another 2 hours downloading the DESKTOP version and
see if it works any better !!!
