Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

when setting up preferences on mail account noticed mail was not being received
if delete after 7 days box was checked there is an easy workaround just to
uncheck the box and mail will work.
There is no error received so user is clueless as to this happening. Only way
user will notice this bug is if he watches the mail being received on the
server or leaves the mail on the server.
To me this went unnoticed for almost a month because I was not leaving messages
on the server.
