Well, according to some upstream moves, it seems that the way to handle this kind of issue is via unusual_devs.h at kernel level.
Also at http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?pid=16220#p16220 this guy got apparently from bandrich a patch against kernel 2.6.22 !! After checking a bit, that patch never went upstream, onlye the options.c bits of it. I'm adding the bandrich's patch in order to test it. As this devices doesn't use the ZeroCD feature like some others, the solution in the patch is to ignore the mass storage device. ** Attachment added: "bandrich's c100 patch to unusual_devs.h" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28948693/lp199887-adding-bandrich-c100.patch ** Changed in: hal (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix -- Bandrich C100 HSPDA modem failure due to udev or hald actions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199887 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
