Not completely true. Canonical changed the pre-set player on streamtuner to be audacious, i.e. when you get streamtuner from synaptic it automatically install audacious with its plugins. So, somebody is doing something, but they are not doing a good job. It is audacious that is interfering with streamtuner. Audacious by itself does not play under jaunty at all. It is a horrible ugly application. XMMS is what is needed. I am using it now with xmms (also being ignored for some stupid reason) and it works fine as long as you wipe out all files under ".streamtuner" every time. Also, whoever did the audacious change messed up the stream categories. The author does not care. We need Canonical's programmers to look at this right now. We need more postings so they pay attention.
