Not sure how this is a duplicate. I am experiencing the same symptoms
reported here when attempting to boot into 2.6.31-2. Boot hangs
indefinitely at "Configuring network interfaces". However, unlike bug
#394371, I can boot using 2.6.31-1. Also, I do not reach the GDM banner.
