Jim, Try disabling the bluetooth drivers, in /etc/default/bluetooth and in /etc/init.d/bluetooth Set these values in both files, "why they are in both files I have no idea?", an oversight perhaps. HID2HCI_ENABLED=0 HID2HCI_UNDO=0
I had to do this to get my Logitech cordless KB and Mousepad to work, your dmesg output lists these devices as being present. The logitech receiver is a usb to bluetooth converter, the OS only sees it as a USB device, but still tries to load all of the other bluetooth devices and locks up the KB and mousepad. -- keyboard/trackpad hang on boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/399650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
