Hi I am running Jaunty on a new Dell Studio 1555
When closing the lid, nothing happens, however when using script mentioned
above, I do get the following output:
akul...@akm01:~$ for i in {1..10}; do cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state;
sleep 1; done

state: open
state: closed
state: closed
state: open
state: open
state: open
state: open
akul...@akm01:~$
So it seems the switch does work, but is not passed on
Any idea
