Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image

I'm finding that the heci module is preventing rebooting and shutting
down via sysctl-R or sysctl-B on my platform. Maybe this isn't
important, but since network manager brings the ethernet interface down
before the NFSv4 homedir mount is unmounted, this is the only way to get
past the hang.

Adding 'blacklist heci' to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf resolves this
perfectly.

System is Lenovo Thinkpad T400, BIOS 2.12 2009-03-13. Kernel is
2.6.30-10-generic x86-64 on stock Ubuntu 9.04 jaunty install, with all
updates.
