I will also upload this package to my PPA. It should be ready in a few hours. Feel free to grab it there, but please be sure to get the correct version since I have a number of xfce4-terminal packages there. You should look for 0.2.10-1ubuntu3 in jaunty. Please provide feedback on whether the package fixes the issue.
