Thanks. The .crash file looks alright here, and I can open it with
apport, so it must be something specific to your environment. I wrote a
patch for apport to give the precise error message, could you please
apply that with
sudo patch /usr/share/pyshared/apport/ui.py apport.show-zlib-
failure.patch
(provided that apport.show-zlib-failure.patch is in the current
directory), and then run
sudo /usr/share/apport/apport-kde -c /var/crash/_usr_bin_software-
properties-kde.0.crash
and tell me the error message?
