It's a PCI network adapter, so I can't insert it after booting. And
moreover there are several versions of this adapter: mine is a V1, the
oldest version (54 MBit), and if I remember correctly, there exist two
newer versions V2 and V3.
But I already replaced it because it made trouble with nearly every
system except Windows XP SP1. I even had to uninstall the Windows XP SP2
because it didn't work with the ServicePack2. Now I use a wireless
ethernet bridge, so I just need the standard-driver for my LAN network
adapter... works perfectly with every system :-)
