Can you comment if this is still an issue for you? Unfortuantely I'm
unable to unzip the VarLogDistupgrade200907061816.gz file to see if
there are any errors that would hint at what the root cause is. If this
is still happening, can you look at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUpdateManager and attach your main.log,
term.log, and apt.log files as documented in the wiki? Thanks.
