Well, I downloaded gphotofs from karmic repository (including libgphoto2-2 and libgphoto2-port0) and now I can write normally ono my SE C902 in nautilus.
Sorry for the confusion, I am actually NOT able to write on Canon EOS 500D even through the gphoto2 command line tool. It always throws "PTP Parameter Not Supported" ehwn I try to copy a file onto it. The gphoto2 output is attached to my comment above. ** Description changed: - When trying to copy a file onto my A-DATA 16GB SDHC cl.6 card through - plugged Canon EOS 500D (gphoto2 protocol in Nautilus) I always get the following - error: + When trying to copy a file onto Canon EOS 500D through gphoto2 it ends + with error: - Chyba při zápisu souboru: -108: Neexistuje žádný takový soubor nebo - adresář - - (Means something like "Error while writing file: -108: The file or - directory doesn't exist) + *** Error *** + PTP Parameter Not Supported + *** Error (-2: 'Bad parameters') *** I downloaded the latest libgphoto2 from a debian beta repository - 2.4.6 and I'm still getting the same error. I have Ubuntu 9.04, but the same thing happens on 8.10. - - NOTE: Another error happens when creating a folder (Error -1: - unidentified error). So I cannot even write to the card using gphoto2 in - any way through Nautilus. The failure is probably not related to the - device that I use, the same thing happens with my mobile phone - SonyEricsson C902, or to the card - my mobile phone has SanDisk M2 8GB - card. -- gphoto2: Error when writing onto Canon EOS 500D https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386221 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
