I have the same error, it happened slightly differently to me, I
upgraded from Grub legacy to Grub 2 and the grub menu file added some
--no-floppy, and every startup Grub 2 complains that there is no command
--no-floppy and I have to delete the command, if I delete from the file,
the next time I update Grub 2 it puts the command back. I am using
Ubuntu Karmic on the latest version.
