Hi again, I must be more precize ...
My PC booted to Kubuntu and I typed in my password in KDM login screen as soon as it was possible, start konqueror, goto 'media:/' and UUIDs. Then a fresh reboot to Kubuntu, I went into my kitchen to fetch a coffee, Kubuntu's login screen had been there at least for 1 minute in idle time, then login, start konqueror, goto 'media:/' and labels. So I suspect that something with ?HAL? isn't quite ready if KDM had just started. It seems to me to be just a timing problem. Is there a way to keep KDM waiting for HAL to be ready? Cheers, Jens -- Konqueror/KDE: "media:/" displays UUIDs instead of foldernames https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141564 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
