The same wording is used in the present Karmic installer too.
I agree with the OP about the *First option being unclear* . *Only the
First option* needs to be re-worded .
Maybe: "Install beside the existing OS [ this allows you to choose , at
each startup , which OS you want to use ] "
But the remaining 2 options are clear and simple the way they are now.
