Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The way to set the icon for a launcher in the gnome panel is quite obscure.
Apparently, you have to click the image with the spring (which happens to be
the default icon for a launcher).
I needed quite a long time to get this.
A more clear way would be just to show the icon, and have a 'change icon'
button below.

Steps to reproduce:
- right-click on the gnome panel
- choose 'Add to panel...'
- click 'Custom Application Launcher'
- click '+ Add'
- In the following screen, you see the icon of the application. Apparently this
is also a button, allowing you to change the icon.
