Plaease, FORGIVE my previous post: actually I had never set additional boot parameters "noapic nolapic irqpoll ht=on", as I did not modify correctly GRUB.
So, after apply these boot parameters (using GRUB correctly), I have serious problems with my multiprocessing laptop, so I gave up. Now, I am testing computer behavior, disabling Advanced Power Management (suggesting that APM can cause the keyboard freeze problem).
