Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vdr
When I tell VDR to shutdown it does the following (according to syslog): Jul 12 04:07:12 mini vdr: [2450] executing '/usr/lib/vdr/vdr-shutdown.wrapper 1247595000 230568 1 "CSI: Miami~Die 14.07.2009-20:15" 0' Jul 12 04:07:12 mini vdr: [2450] saved setup to /var/lib/vdr/setup.conf Jul 12 04:07:12 mini vdr-shutdown: executing /usr/share/vdr/shutdown-hooks/S90.custom as shell script Jul 12 04:07:12 mini vdr-shutdown: executing /usr/share/vdr/shutdown-hooks/S90.nvram-wakeup as shell script Jul 12 04:07:12 mini vdr-nvram-wakeup: nvram-wakeup functionality is disabled BUT when I tell VDR to do "pm-suspend" instead of "shutdown now" by editing the S90.custom file to override the SHUTDOWNCMD variable the system freezes on executing the shutdown scripts although "pm-suspend" work fine when executed by root from CLI.
