Bump! I've peered at the Network Manager configuration for ages, and I can't see how to make it do a tethered connection using my phone, but I configured bluetooth and ppp so I can type "pon ISP" from the command line easily... surely it should be easier through network manager?
The side effect of this is now that half the programs refuse to go online beucase Network Manager thinks there is no connection... it's getting really irritating, NM suggests that I can do this through the GUI, there's even a wizard... but it just doesn't seem to give a way to connect. TBH, at this point a normal serial dialer would work for me, because I've already got RFCOMM connecting to the phone... Any suggestions would be welcome. -- network manager doesn't support dial up modems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355553 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
