Is this still an issue for you? I'm unfortunately not seeing anything
obvious in your VarLogDistupgrade* files. If this is still an issue
care to take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUpdateManager
and attaching the debug files noted there? Thanks.
