Public bug reported:

NetworkManager segfaulted and I can't reproduce the error. I was working
away when I realised that I was no longer connected to my wireless
network. Hovering over the NetworkManager notification icon, it said
that NetworkManager was no longer running. I had to manually restart it
and also /etc/init.d/hal restart before the network came back up.

I've attached a syslog extract leading up to the segfault.

My system is...

Dell Inspiron 9400
Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network
Connection (rev 02)
Ubuntu: 9.04 (Jaunty)
Kernel: 2.6.30 (self compiled)
network-manager: 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2
libc6: 2.9-4ubuntu6

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
