Interesting. So, syncdaemon is started by a dbus call issued by the nautilus extension. what do you think it's the way this should work? We could check if there is a OAuth token available before starting syncdaemon to avoid starting it and also avoid creating the ~/Ubuntu One and ~/.cache/ubuntuone folders. I don't know how this impact the current nautilus extension, Rodney?
