As HAL is deprecated the hal-cups-utils will get removed from Karmic and
the "hal" CUPS backend will get discontinued and not replaced. The hal-
cups-utils package will also get discontinued upstream. Your printer
will work with the "usb" CUPS backend. Therefore we are closing this bug
report.
