My notebook display driver is using VIA official Ubuntu display driver
is not using Open chrome. Before I had been used the Open chrome, but is
cannot support openGL. For example, I open the Blender 3D the
performance is very low and the adobe reader cannot display the mouse
crusder.

Please check if this error exists also in openchrome driver.

Please build/install the latest openchrome driver and enable debug mode.

Status in “xserver-xorg-driver-via” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-driver-via

I change the root account to configure same setting. Then I re-login before 
user account and using Firefox.
When I scroll the mouse surface the web page. The web page display had been 
broken!

OS: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Gnome: 2.22.3 (Ubuntu 2008-07-09)
Display device: VIA VN896
Display Driver: VIA CN896+8237S*

* Download from VIA official. Driver Compatibility with VN896. 
* The kernel driver have crash in startup and log off screen and 3D performance 
very low.
